The Secret to Better Looking Legs!

Hello little ones,

I hope you are all well! I thought I would write about an amazing product that has helped me overcome my razor bumps that I developed on the backs of my legs from shaving. I used to have the worst red bumps on my legs and they were the most ugly and irritating bumps in the world. I tried lots of exfoliators to sort out my skin but nothing seemed to work until I came across this product...

This my little minions is my Holy Grail product. You literally rub it into damp skin in circular motions and wash away, pat dry and feel the smoothness of your legs. AMAZING! And it smells incredible. It's made of shea butter, sweet almond oil, peach seed powder, sea salt and sugar.
Trust me guys, this stuff is great. My legs have never looked or felt better. The small pot is only £2.50  or you can buy it in large for £7.00 from Soap and Glory

What are your favourite body scrubs?

The Postman Brings Me Presents...

...Well, at least I like to think of it that way!
Yesterday I had an exciting parcel arrive that I had been waiting for, full of goodies from the wonderful Dixi. I stumbled across Dixi through their Facebook page and decided to browse their website. OH MY GOODNESS, I wanted everything! My weakness is rings, I adore rings and have way too many but I always find myself acquiring more... Anywho, Dixi have some amazing designs on their website and all at such great cost! All of the rings that I purchased were between £4-£6 which is brilliant!

Dixi sells vintage and modern clothing and jewellery at very affordable prices.

So here's what I decided to purchase:
Harper Long Aztec Ring: £6.00
I love this ring and how it appears to spread over three fingers. I also adore the colours and the pattern!

Karma Thin Band Ring: £6.00
This ring is so simple which is why I really like it. I have never seen a ring like this before, especially one with the inscription of Karma,  which is something I believe in.

The last two rings that I purchased were the Dejana Twisted Gold Above Knuckle Ring: £4.00 and the Tevis Bronze Cut Out Knuckle Ring: £6.00.
I am a huge fan of knuckle rings, so as soon as I saw this cut out one I had to have it!
I hadn't really seen many above knuckle rings before and thought that it looked really pretty. I think they make your fingers look really dainty and long, which I find to be a very good thing!

You can find all of these rings and more at the Dixi website:

Jumpers...in May?

Hello little pickles!

This is a quick post about JUMPERS!
I LOVE jumpers; chunky knits, cardigans, polo necks...

England has been seeing some confusing weather at the moment, with bright sunshine one minute and dreary weather the next! So I always keep a jumper handy just in case it is one of those days. As it happens, today is a little overcast so I've decided to pair this chunky knit jumper with a pair of pale blue, skinny jeans for my casual day look.

This cream one is my go to jumper for dreary days at home.

What's your go to clothing for these kind of days?

Sleek MakeUP Palette Review- Oh So Special Divine Palette

Hello my little pickles!

How is everyone? Just thought I'd write  a quick review on the Oh So Special Divine Palette by Sleek MakeUP. As you have probably guessed by now, I am becoming an increasing fan of this very affordable brand and so I thought I'd branch out and try some of their eye shadows. I picked up this palette because the colours are wonderfully neutral. The outer packaging is simple and Sleek.

Each colour is named with the clear overlay. There are 12 glorious, feminine colours suitable for every skin tone- it is the perfect summer palette! There are colours perfect for day and night, warm beige shades moving into more intense glittery shades. A must for any make-up bag!
I swatched 4 colours for you to get an idea just how pigmented they are, from left to right: Noir, Celebrate, Organza, Gateau.

adore this palette and use it everyday, especially Noir as I love to line my eyes using eye shadow and the best part is, is that it only costs £6.49 from Superdrug!

What colour is your favourite from this palette or in general?

I am not affiliated with Sleek MakeUP in anyway- I just really love them!

French Clay 101

Hello my lovelies! Hope you are all doing well. Just thought I'd give a lesson today in French Clay; the different types and what skin type each suits best! So here goes...

There are 4 different types of French Clay; Pink, Yellow, Red and Green.
You use French Clay to make clay masks, normally mixed with mineral water and a few teaspoons of the clay. Clay is a natural material, mined from the French quarries.

Fine French Pink Clay
1) Fine Pink French Clay
Pink clay is the combination of red and white clay and is the mildest of them all.
It works best for normal/sensitive/mature skin.
It works by removing the dead skin cells and toxins from the skin. It helps to clear acne and heals sun damaged skin.

2) French Yellow Clay
French Yellow Clay
Yellow clay is a mild clay and best for dry skin. It draws out impurities from the body and stimulates circulation. As well as that it helps remove dead skin cells and adds tone to the skin.

French Red Clay
3) French Red Clay
Red clay is made from Haematite Iron and gets its colour from copper oxides. It is best used on normal to oily skin, as it cleanses and exfoliates to give refreshed and rejuvenated skin.

French Green Clay

4) French Green Clay
Green clay is the most popular of all the clays available as it is safe on all types of skin. It absorbs oil and impurities to refresh and tighten pores.

All these clays can be bought online but make sure you look for trusting sellers. The best places to go would be to your local spa or beauty health store.

Which clay would be best suited for you?

Sleek MakeUP Pout Polish

Hello everyone, I'm really sorry I haven't been posting here for ages. I've just finished my 2nd year of university and so now I can  finally relax at home for a little while!

Anyway, whilst I was trying to get on with studying, I went and did a little shopping! I prefer Superdrug to Boots, mainly because Superdrug sell Sleek MakeUP. I've heard a lot about Sleek MakeUP from the Pixiwoo Sisters on YouTube and decided I wanted to try them out, too.

The fist item I picked up was the Sleek MakeUP Pout Polish with SPF15 in the colour 964 Peach Perfection.

It is a tinted lip conditioner, so does not have the pigment of a lip stick but gives a slight hint of colour and shine. It contains natural oils, such as; Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Avocado Oil and vitamins A, C and E to help condition the lips and keep them soft!
As well as all these goodies, it also contains SPF15 to help protect those lips against sun
exposure!

Costing only £4.30 these pout polishes are superb in price and quality. Time to run down to Superdrug and purchase some more colours I think! I much prefer wearing a light make-up on my lips during the day and find myself reaching for this everytime!

Has anyone else tried these pout polishes or know of any similar products worth trying?
